This will be our 4th year making November positive and working on improving our mental health by focusing on the positive! Starting November 2nd we will have a no complain zone at CrossFit Bluegrass for the entire month!
We have bands at the gym for every coach and athlete! These bands should be worn during class and you are welcome to take it home (they are yours to keep)!
The hope is to bring awareness to how powerful our thoughts and attitude are everyday. Lets be positive and grateful throughout the day and let that spread throughout not only CFBG but our city!
If you catch yourself complaining, you take [the bracelet] and you move it to the other wrist, the idea is to ultimately keep it (on the same wrist) for 21 days (to help form the habit)!
No gossiping, either!
Pay attention to how you’re speaking. If you say, “Oh, my leg hurts,” that might just be a statement of fact. But if you’re droning on about the pain in your calf, that’s probably a complaint.
If you want to know the difference between a comment and a complaint, pay attention to your feelings about the issue.
