In 2018, 7 year old Brock Groh was diagnosed with ALD (adrenoluekodystrophy). ALD is a genetic disease that severely affects the body’s nerve cells that are crucial for muscle control. Brock has been strong and has already fought through a bone marrow transplant and chemotherapy. He has asked the CrossFit community to fight with him!
Let’s support families like the Groh’s and help raise awareness for ALD by inviting a friend to sweat with us on Thursday, May 16th during any class time! You can also spread awareness by checking-in to CrossFit Bluegrass on the day of event, tagging #cantstopbrock, or donating to Brock’s GoFundMe account.

The 100 is significant because the 100 day mark after the transplant is a major milestone, usually it marks the end of hospitalization and out-patient care.
The 7 is significant because Brock will undergo 7 straight days of intense chemotherapy prior to his transplant.
