If it weren’t for a few Bluegrass athletes, Brandan would still be endlessly spinning on a stationary bike in hopes of being the “fittest” athlete in Louisville. The first workout Brandan ever attempted at Bluegrass was on Thanksgiving day in 2012. Brandan wasn’t able to finish the workout and he knew at that moment that he wanted to be a part of the Crossfit community. He joined CrossFit Bluegrass in January 2013. Brandan, a former University of Louisville football walk on, has always been competitive and loved team camaraderie and he fills both of those needs at Bluegrass. What makes CrossFit even more special for Brandan is that his wife (LeeAnn) and brother (Ryan) both love it as well and he gets to work alongside them every day!
Brandan earned his CrossFit Level 1 in October 2013 at Crossfit Strong in Dallas, TX. Brandan loves the people at Crossfit Bluegrass and says, “Bluegrass is a family, yet there’s still a competitive aspect that everyone enjoys. It’s rewarding when you achieve your goals while watching your teammates achieve theirs as well. I couldn’t be happier to be a coach at Crossfit Bluegrass.”
