Lindsey has always loved playing sports/being active. She has a background in Softball as well as Track and Field. She stays active not only in the gym, but challenging herself in all areas of fitness. From climbing Kilimanjaro in Africa, backpacking/rock climbing in the back country of Wyoming, to Scuba Diving in the Red Sea. She fallen in love with the process of her health and fitness journey. We each have our own unique paths, so let’s live our lives to the fullest!
Lindsey Joined the Crossfit Bluegrass Community in 2013. She started in her we early years in Crossfit. She did many Crossfit competitions in the Kentucky area, over the years. It wasn’t until May 2015 that she injured her back. No matter what she did with the workouts she still struggled with constant pain. In 2017 she made a decision to start back from the basics and fix imbalances that she developed over the years.
From here she started focusing on the basics and then transitioned into Olympic Weightlifting. Now she is pain free, competing in Olympic Weightlifting, and feeling stronger than ever.
With her own experience suffering with back pain for years. She has become passionate about helping others live a healthy lifestyle through community, movement, diet and nutrition. She has become experienced and certified in many areas over the years. She is pumped to be able to bring this knowledge to the community to further enhance their overall quality of life. I want to be here to help our athletes feel empowered by taking control of their health in whatever way that means to them.
As an avid traveler and foodie she is always on the move and adventuring somewhere in this world! She is always looking for a new restaurant to try and a new country to explore!
