CrossFit 101 is our FREE two week getting started program! This is your chance to learn the principles of CrossFit and “The Bluegrass Way”! The 1st week has four classes that cover the fundamentals in a small group setting where you get to know our coaches, we learn more about you and your goals while getting you ready for regular classes in the 2nd week of the 101 program! Classes are sixty minutes full of “constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movements” based on the CrossFit methodology and supplemented with CFBG programming. Our coaches will lead each class through a warm-up, review any skills and techniques, and coach you through the entire hour. This class is designed for all levels of fitness and available to all members.
Bluegrass KidFit is designed to not only teach and build on the elements of strength and fitness, but to cultivate a general and life long love of fitness, activity, and health. In a group setting, kids participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well- rounded athletes. KidFit workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements that deliver a fitness that is broad, inclusive and general as well as scalable for any participant at any level.
Bluegrass Burn Bootcamp
Bluegrass Burn is a non-barbell, cardio intense, interval training class offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00am at our Middletown location. This program is designed specifically to improve endurance, burn maximum calories, and have fun!
Sports Performance Training
Bluegrass Sports Performance training programs are designed to get young athletes strong for sports. Our program is designed to establish a base level of strength, build good movement patterns, and teach athletes how to move through space quickly, safely, and most importantly as fast as possible. Strength, power and speed are the building blocks of athleticism.
This Olympic lifting specific class focuses on improving the Olympic lifts with proper technique. Every class is lead by an experienced and educated Coach that meets athletes specific needs to help carry over good habits of lifting into the CrossFit classes. Weightlifting classes are included in the unlimited membership option or can be purchased as a separate membership
Proper Nutrition is probably the single most important factor in your overall health and fitness. Whether your goals are to take your athletic pursuits to the next level or lose that stubborn weight, CrossFit Bluegrass provides additional services to assist with reaching your goals.
Kort Physical Therapy
We partner with Kentucky’s premier provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy specializing in sports medicine on regular mobility clinics and Functional Movement Screenings to keep our members feeling good and moving well.
These times are set aside to give you the opportunity to get in an additional workout or perfect a skill/technique in an individual or small group environment. It is also a great time for team practices and trainer workouts. Open Gym time is designed for all levels of fitness but is only available to unlimited members.
